
he Anti-Maritime Piracy Bill, 2019 has been listed for consideration and passing during the Monsoon session of the Parliament that commenced on July 18. If passed, the Bill will bring the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) into domestic law and enable Indian authorities to take action against piracy on the high seas.
