U.S. lawmakers detail Big Tech’s market abuses and press for strict reform

The antitrust subcommittee of the Judiciary Committee recommended that Apple Inc, Amazon.com, Alphabet Inc’s Google, and Facebook — having over $5 trillion combined market value — should not both control and compete in related businesses. In it support the panel broadly recommended structural separations but did not commented on a specific company should be broken up. However, all the firms have disagreed to the report of the U.S. House of Representatives panel.
