Though hunters lose interest in Red Panda, traps still snare endangered mammal

According to a report by TRAFFIC, though the Red Pandas have few hunters due to lack of demand for the animal’s products, it is still vulnerable because of failing in traps laid for other animals. Red Panda’s are found in four Indian states – Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Sikkim, and West Bengal. China has the largest population of Red Panda.
