This editorial is on the of author cum traveler cum photographer and former BBC World staff Vijay Kranti who travelled travelled incognito on a tourist visa deep into Tibet and China. In his eight years of travel he observed that China was desperate of construction of roads and millitary establishment all over Tibet. According to him, the present standoff between India and China is more related to internal political situation of China where a power struggle is prevailing within the Chinese Communist Party and Xi Jinping desires to establishment himself as lifelong supreme leader of China like late Chairman Mao.
