Rights of domestic workers in focus post-lockdown

During the lockdown, several domestic workers lost their jobs or were denied of their wages or were harassed by the employers. Following this, Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) highlighted the need for safeguarding their rights and hence came out with a manifesto demanding universal registration of employers and domestic workers and national comprehensive legislation.
