Relevance:
Racism in India is something that is not readily accepted by all. People would come and say that India is a diverse country and hence no racism exist in India. However, that is not the case. Over the years the discrimination and violence metted out towards citizens from North-East India , people of African origin and sometimes even to South Indians indicate towards the deeply entrenched racism in the Indian society. It is high it is spoken out openly and steps are taken towards eradicating this particular social evil.
