Relevance:
The pandemic has highlighted varying nature of the challenges faced by the world. These challenges are both cross-national and cross-domain in nature. They respect no national boundaries and are not amenable to national solutions only. And the cross-domain challenges are with strong feedback loops. A disruption in one domain often cascades into parallel disruptions in other domains. To reach out any solutions these challenges need a multilateral approach. However, spurt in narrow nationalistic over global interests has brought multilateralism to its knees.
