PM Narendra Modi praised the UN in its 75th General Assembly Session, while observing that the institution confronted a ‘crisis of confidence’. In his speech he stressed on UN reforms and restructuring for assimilating deeper sense of multilateralism and mitigation of non-traditional security threats. The speech by PM Modi is very important as India is going to occupy the seat on non-permanent member in UNSC in next few months.
