India reaches out to Pakistan to fight locusts

A locust storm that was brewing since the last month has reached India and hit Rajasthan in Jodhpur. Desert locusts pose a major threat to food security and one square km swarm containing about 40 million locusts can eat as much as 35000 people. India has reached out to Pakistan to counter the storm by forming a trilateral partnership with Iran.
