Relevance:
India-Israel relations began in 1950 with India recognising Israel but the relations were restricted due to geopolitical factors. The full diplomatic relations began in 1992 with P.V. Narasimha Rao as India’s prime minister.
Israel has helped India in all possible manner with high end security tech when Western allies had put embargo on modern equipment to counter threats from remote controlled devices. Israel discreetly helped India to counter aggressive Pakistani moves threatening India’s land and air security.
