India, B’desh pledge to bring down border incidents to zero

At the 6th Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) meeting between India and Bangladesh, both the countries agreed that loss of civilian lives at the border was a matter of concern and hence they resolved to implement the Coordinated Border Management Plan (CBMP). This plan aims to improve coordination and communication between the border forces of both the countries and consequently intends to bring down border inceidents to zero. Currently, India and Bangladesh are the top two economies in South Asia. The topic is important from the point of India-Bangladesh relations in GS mains II.
