IAF bought uncertified engines at inflated prices in 2010: CAG

An investigation has been recommended by the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) over IAF’s purchase of five Unmanned Aerial Vehicle engines in 2010. CAG noted that DRDO had purchased same engines two years later at one-third of the price. “Fixing of responsibility for wrongful supply and acceptance of mis-labelled engines by the IAF” was recommended by the CAG.
