Farm legislation will ensure inclusive development

As per Economic Survey Report of 2019-20, 70% of rural households principally depends on agriculture for their livelihood. The Agriculture sector plays crucial role in national food security, income generation, employment generation and rural livelihood. However, in India’s agricultural sector there still remains a dearth of of suitable marketing facilities. This article is on farm legislations – The Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020.
