There are three systems of education in India. First is the Central system which includes advanced professional universities and institutes that have a higher per capita funding compared to the state run institutes. Most of the English-medium private schools across India are affiliated under the exam board run by this system. The second system includes provincial secondary boards schools affiliated under state exam boards. The third system includes globally connected private universities and internationally accredited school boards which are purely based on private investment and enjoys freedom from state norms. The new National Education Policy 2020 document underestimates the problem of reconciling the three systems.
