Due to Covid-19 crisis, several governments across the globe are resorting to protectionism, de-globalization and nationalistic policies and thus a collapse of the globally integrated economic order is becoming visible. But, as soon as the Covid-19 crisis wanes, there are possibilities of getting louder calls for a new social contract, for ushering in a world where joy, happiness, harmony, nature, environment and climate shall be reckoned to be more fulfilling objectives of not only our daily life but also of business, greater than profits, wealth and possessions.
