Relevance:
Economic nationalism is one of the byproducts of the ongoing pandemic across the world. Almost all the world leaders have suddenly become vocal for their local produced goods. In India, while this was a call given to reduce all imports, the ongoing tussle between the Indian and Chinese Army made it particular for the Chinese goods. Like everything that is currently being made out of proportions, the social media made it the same with hashtags running to boycott Chinese goods. Whatever might be the social media frenzy, boycotting as a move to restrict China is impractical and hardly possible.
