Biden and India

The bilateral ties between India and the US has reached to such a high level of maturity that it is not likely to bring in any impacts on fundamentals with the change in administration. Although the US has its own interest but still Trump’s resolute in staring down China, promoting an Indo-Pacific strategic architecture and de-hyphenating the India-Pakistan relationship provided a leverage to India in a multipolar world. With President-elect Biden going to hold the administration, there are some possibilities for resurrection of the Iran nuclear deal while possibility of confronting a few problems could be with New Delhi’s agenda on the integration of the Kashmir Valley, NRC, CAA and fight against terror. Other than these, problems could only arise if the new administration decides to engage with Pakistan instead of isolating them, instead of containing accommodate China and push the trope that contemporary global terrorism is not linked to religion.
