
KK Venugopal, the Attorney General of India declined reconsidering his refusal for initiating contempt proceedings against Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Cheif Minister of Andhra Pradesh over the allegations against Supreme Court. The Attorneu General said he will consider “particular statements or conduct will be prima facie contumacious” as well as if it is in “larger public interest” befor placing the matter in front of Supreme Court as a contempt petition.
