Anwar’s turn?

A big twist happened in the Malaysia’s fractious politics. The King of Malayasia had sought assurances of support before agreeing to an audience. This suggests that former Deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim may have the number which he is claiming. Presently, Muhyiddun Yasin is the Prime Minister of the country. He came in power in the month of March. As per the Constitution of Malayasia, absolute power of appointing Prime Minister of the country rests with the King. The issue is important from the point of foreign affairs.
