African swine fever spreads to Meghalaya

The article highlights the rise of African Swine Flu (ASF) among pigs in the state of Assam and Meghalaya. ASF is a highly contagious disease which can affect wild and domesticated pigs. It also spreads swiftly through national borders, spreading through live and dead bodies and even through packaged pork products.
