Accountability can’t be placed under lockdown


The Centre imposed a lockdown in the whole country, in a very unplanned order leaving hours of time for the state governments to prepare their economies for the lockdown and its economic impact. The article highlights the cracks in governance and planning, Centre-State Relations and the care and dignity that government policies accord its citizens. It also describes the central government’s inefficiency in dealing with Guest workers.
