A concerted attack on RTI

This editorial is on the Right to Information (RTI) law that marked its 15years of enactment in 2020. The Supreme Court of India has upheld the law as fundamental right flowing from Article 19 of the Constitution tat provides guarantees of right to speech and expression to every citizen. This law has been constructive in seeking information for actively participating in process of decision making and in holding governments accountable.
