According to a report published by UNFPA one in three girls missing due to both pre and post natal sex selection is from India, the report states that around 46 million girls are missing from India. The report examines the issue of missing girl’s child by studying the gender biased sex –ratio, due prenatal sex selection and also excess female mortality due to deliberate neglect of Girls .
